HELSTAR! The US Power Metal/ Technical Thrash band that put Texas on the map of the world for Heavy Metal. These Texas legends got their start in 1984 with their debut album Burning Star. They released 3 more in the 80’s. Remnants of War, Distant Thunder and their main opus Nosferatu. Their version of a Dracula movie.

In 1995 they did release Multiples of Black but it was a time when metal was ignored.

In 2006 the original line up came together once again to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the release of Remnants of War and the rest is history.

They signed a deal with AFM Records and released 4 nostalgic records. Sins of The Past, King Of Hell, Glory of Chaos and This Wicked Nest.

Then they released Vampiro on David Ellefson’s from Megadeth label.

Helstar toured with them back in 1985 and to this day James and Dave have always remained very good friends

This was the album that took them into full swing with the Dracula/ Vampiric image they have to this day giving lead singer James Rivera the nick name simply as VAMPIRO.

It was a follow up of the album Nosferatu.

Their last release on Massacre Records The Devils Masquerade proves after 40 something years, the band has gotten more stronger, powerful, darker and more musically inclined. They are like a fine wine that taste better after all these centuries!

Manta

Drei Köpfige Heavy Metal Band aus Hamburg. Ende 2023 als loses Projekt ins leben gerufen, 2024 dann als vollständige Band gestartet.

2026 Veröffentlichen sie schließlich ihre erste Demo „Heavy Roller“

Rotzig, Laut und unverschämt Orientiert sich die Band am frühen sound der NWOBHM und Punk der späten 70er Jahre.
