Due to the pandemic, Markthalle Hamburg is supporting the city of Hamburg by taking care of homeless people near the central station since November 2020. Therefore Markthalle provides their rooms as daycare center for homeless people.
This support will most likely proceed until the end of March 2022. At the moment, the city of Hamburg is trying to find an alternative location for the daycare center for homeless people, to enable a restart for events at Markthalle in the near future.
A restart of Markthalle will be possible from 16th April 2022 at the very latest.
„Due to the above circumstances with the venue Markthalle Hamburg the show on 09th March 2022 is moved to Gruenspan on 07th March 2022.
Berlin Columbia theater on the 07th March 2022 will now take place at Berlin Columbia theater on 09th March 2022. We deeply regret if this has caused any inconvienence and have worked hard to keep both Hamburg and Berlin in place.
Tickets for the original shows remain valid.“
