Dizzy Mizz Lizzy release a new album for the first time in 20 years!
Dizzy Mizz Lizzy has not released new material since their success album “Rotator” from 1996.
The new album title is “Forward In Reverse” and is oozing the same joy, energy, melodious flair and captivating rock that has made Dizzy Mizz Lizzy one of the most popular Danish bands ever.
The songs on the album is written by Tim Christensen, arranged by Dizzy Mizz Lizzy and produced by Jacob Hansen.
Dizzy Mizz Lizzy was formed in 1988 by classmates Tim Christensen, Søren Friis and Martin Nielsen. They were the winners of “DM I Rock” (Danish Master in Rock) in 1993 and the year after they released their debut album titled “Dizzy Mizz Lizzy”. The album quickly wrote itself into the history books as a gigantic artistic and commercial success with a sale of 250.00 albums in Denmark, 100.000 in Japan and four Danish Grammys. In 1996 “Rotator” followed, it was recorded in the Abbey Road studios in London and sold 120.000 copies in Denmark, 100.000 in Japan and the group won two Danish Grammys. After some intense years the group retired but returned in 2010 with several concerts, including the Orange Stage at the Roskilde Festival. They returned in 2015 with a new single “I Would If I Could But I Can’t” and sold out concerts in Denmark. In 2016 the band has been touring in Denmark and Japan.
