ONAIR ist das, was man einen Senkrechtstarter nennt. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit hat sich diese außergewöhnliche Gruppe in der internationalen Vokalszene als Top-Act etabliert. Szenekenner und Musikkritiker zählen sie zu den derzeit besten Vocal-Pop-Formationen.

Das gemischte Sextett aus Berlin musiziert gänzlich ohne Instrumente, hat aber ansonsten mit den gängigen Klischees, die man hierzulande mit dem Genre „A Cappella“ verbindet, nichts zu tun. Björk, Massive Attack, Sting, Rage against the Machine, Metallica, U2, Radiohead u.v.a.m.: ONAIRs musikalische Visitenkarte zeugt von ihrem Anspruch. Intensiv und voller Leidenschaft, überrascht ONAIR mit einer beeindruckenden künstlerischen Persönlichkeit und einem virtuosen Klangkörper, der seinesgleichen sucht.

Die brillanten Arrangements werden mit einem innovativen Sounddesign veredelt. Es entsteht atemberaubende Vokalkunst, die neue Maßstäbe setzt. Dafür wurde ONAIR bereits mit zahlreichen renommierten Preisen ausgezeichnet, u.a. in Boston, USA mit zwei CARA-Awards (dem „Grammy“ der internationalen Vokalszene) und dem 1. Preis auf der „World Contemporary A Cappella Competition“ in Taipeh.

Jennifer Kothe, Sopran – Gesangs-Studium „Jazz&Pop“ an der HfM „Hanns Eisler“ Berlin, Gesangssolistin u.a. beim Trio Rosenrot, Engagements als Schauspielerin und Sängerin am Ronacher in Wien und am Nationaltheater Mannheim. Gründungsmitglied der renommierten A cappella-Gruppe Peter and the Wolvettes und der Jazzvocals, Arrangeurin und Gesangspädagogin.
Marta Helmin, Sopran – Seit frühester Jugend Klavierunterricht und erste Preise beim Bundeswettbewerb Jugend musiziert Klavier und Gesangsstudium in Münster, schon während des Studiums Opernproduktionen und Solo-Klavierkonzerte. Nach ihrem Studium Engagements in etlichen Musicalproduktionen wie „We will Rock You, Mozart!“ und „Mamma Mia“ u.a.
