Instrumental Post-Metal, spanning the entire space between crushing noise and hypnotic atmosphere performed by a power trio discretely supported by the magic of synthesizer sounds: this is what SHAKHTYOR is about. Formed in 2009 with the intention to do it slowly in every sense, they first appeared on stage in 2011. After having released their self-titled album on their own in 2012 and numerous shows across Germany, they caught the attention of Germany’s underground metal label Cyclone Empire, who then re-released the album in 2013. This did not only bring the band the attention of a larger audience but also the honor of being released in North America by Metal Blade a little later. After another amazing year, the band concentrated on completing and recording the material for the upcoming second effort „Tunguska“, which will be released by Cyclone Empire in April 2015.

Die Hamburger Devil’s Day Off kochen ihr Rocksüppchen seit siebzehn Jahren und sind in der Zeit zu einer Band gereift, die Ihren unverkennbaren Sound gefunden hat und immer wieder mitreißende Shows abliefert. Dass das auch ohne Plattenvertrag, teure Studios und massenhaft gesammelte falsche Internet-Freunde funktioniert, macht die Band umso sympathischer. Musikalisch zerfließen die Grenzen zwischen Rock, Metal und Punk, trotzdem klingt es immer nach DEVIL’S DAY OFF.
Gegründet im Sommer 2000 in Hamburg. 2 Gitarren, Bass, Schlagzeug, Gesang. ROCK. Nach mehreren Demos, einer Split 10″ mit Gutbucket und diversen Compilation-Beiträgen wurde Ende 2012 das Album „Over The Years – Under The Radar“ in einer Mini-Auflage von 110 12″ Vinyls rausgehauen. Die Platte wurde in DDO-Tradition D.I.Y.-mäßig produziert, 11 Songs im Probenraum aufgenommen und zu Hause gemixt. Nachdem das Album als CD nachgeschoben wurde, ist die Band aktuell mit der Aufnahme neuer Songs beschäftigt.
DETRAKTOR
Born from the early hours of the night in early December 2015 in Hamburg, Detraktor has been working hard towards harvesting the interest of the locals and beyond. Heavily inspired by past influences and often bringing elements of old school legendary bands to the music, Detraktor often sparks local curiosity and grabs the interest of the crowd with the groove and the attitude. The core lineup of the band (Henrique, Rafael and Boris) was finally completed when Jeronimo joined the ranks in a very stressful and active period, in the early 2017. After releasing “Sunday Poem”, Detraktor was on the move and after some careful drinking, the overall style of the music and the band in general started to find its way. All songs are written spontaneously and purely based on emotion and attitude. As a result, the front row at shows receives a powerful kick in the face of heavy riffing.
